Experience the beautiful sunrise and glorious calm waters of Fairbairn Dam, the gentle rolling hills with speed and the technical run of the botanical gardens in this first ever standard and sprint distance event of the Central Highlands Triathlon club.

  • Earn participation points (7-11) or series points (14+)
  • Earn points towards the Nissan Club Championships or Scody Club Championships – North Queensland (depending on club geographical location)

How to earn points

To earn points in the Nissan State Series you need to race in the correct event for your age group. Use the tabs to find out which event to enter for your age group at the Emerald Triathlon.

Ages 7-9 years

Event: Kids Tri

Points: Participation

Distance: 50m swim / 2km bike / 100m run

Ages 10-11 years

Event: Kids Tri

Points: Participation

Distance: 150m swim / 4km bike / 1km run

Ages 12-13 years

Event: Kids Tri

Points: Participation

Distance: 300m / 8km bike / 2km run

Ages 14-15 years

Event: Sprint

Points: Series

Distance: 750 swim / 20km bike / 5km run

Ages 16+ years

Event: Olympic

Points: Series

Distance: 1.5km swim / 40km bike / 10km run
