Race to be Champion in the 2017 – 18 Nissan State Series

The 2017-18 Nissan State Series incorporates seventeen of the most challenging and diverse events across Queensland, which have been handpicked for your best season to date.

Covering all multisport disciplines – long distance, standard and sprint triathlon, aquathlon, duathlon and cross triathlon, it is the ultimate challenge for the multisport athlete and a true testament of all-round performance, versatility and endurance across the season.

With events across Queensland’s most unique destinations, let the Nissan State Series take you from the Tropical North across to Hell and back (aka Hell of the West) and south across the border to Kingscliff.

Triathlon Queensland has also recognised clubs through the Nissan Club Championships. Thanks to the partnership with Nissan, Triathlon Queensland has directly invested into clubs, age group programs and development initiatives.

With club numbers growing, the 2017-18 season will be our biggest to date. Triathlon Queensland’s Club Championships will now extend to not only include the Nissan Club Championships at the Moreton Bay Triathlon, but also encourage participation throughout the state by awarding points for club representation at all events in the Nissan State Series, the Scody Club Championships – North Queensland held at Townsville Triathlon Festival and the Nissan Club Championships held at the Moreton Bay Triathlon in Redcliffe.

Clubs affiliated through Triathlon Queensland (plus Ballina Tri Club and Tweed Valley Triathletes) will generate points based on their members who participate, perform and volunteer throughout the season.

Make sure you are registered as a Triathlon Queensland member prior to your race to earn points in the series! Find out more
