For a hit out or for fun! Bring your crew and join family-friendly triathlon in one of Australia’s most stunning coast triathlon locations. Featuring a protected swim in Cudgen Creek, a flat cycle and scenic run along the Kingscliff foreshore.

  • Earn championship points (7+)
  • Queensland Championship – Triathlon (7-15)
  • Queensland Championship – Standard Triathlon (16+)
  • Earn points towards the Nissan Club Championships or Scody Club Championships – North Queensland (depending on club geographical location)

How to earn points

To earn points in the Nissan State Series you need to race in the correct event for your age group. Use the tabs to find out which event to enter for your age group at the Kingscliff Triathlon.

Ages 7-9 years (as at 31 December 2017)

Event: Junior

Points: Championship

Distance: 100m swim / 3km bike / 500m run

Ages 10-11 years (as at 31 December 2017)

Event: Big Kids

Points: Championship

Distance: 200m swim / 6km bike / 1km run

Ages 12-13 years (as at 31 December 2017)

Event: Tempta

Points: Championship

Distance: 300m swim / 10km bike / 2.5km run

Ages 14-17 years (as at 31 December 2017)

Event: Sprint

Points: Championship

Distance: 750m swim / 20km bike / 5km run

Ages 18 + years (as at 31 December 2017)

Event: Olympic

Points: Championship

Distance: 1.5km swim / 40km bike / 10km run
