Join us at this event for a beautiful swim in the protected Moreton Bay, followed by a fast ride over the Ted Smout Bridge and a flat run along the foreshore.

Moreton Bay Triathlon doubles as the Nissan Club Championships with a $9,000 prize pool on the line for Champion clubs.

It is also the last chance for Triathlon Queensland members to earn valuable Championship points before the Champions are announced.

  • Earn series points (7-13) and championship points (14+)
  • Queensland Championship – Sprint Triathlon (14+ only) – 7-13 Queensland Championship – Triathlon is presented at the Kingscliff Triathlon.
  • Earn points towards the Nissan Club Championships
  • Athletes wishing to gain Championship points for 7-13 should enter Kingscliff Triathlon

How to earn points

To earn points in the Nissan State Series you need to race in the correct event for your age group. Use the tabs to find out which event to enter for your age group at the Moreton Bay Triathlon.

Event: Kool Kids

Points: Series

Distance: 100m swim / 2km bike / 500m run

Ages 10-11 years (as at 31 December 2017)

Event: Kool Kids

Points: Series

Distance: 100m swim / 2km bike / 500km run

Ages 12-13 years (as at 31 December 2017)

Event: Enticer

Points: Series

Distance: 200m swim / 5km bike / 2km run

Ages 14 + years (as at 31 December 2017)

Event: Sprint

Points: Championship

Distance: 750m swim / 20km bike / 5km run
