Lake Kawana

The Queensland Tri Series is one on the state’s premier triathlon series. Each race features different distances to cater for all ages and abilities to compete in a fun, friendly environment. From the Kool Kids to the Elites, there is something for everyone!

The Kawana event will feature sprint and enticer distances.

Make a weekend of it and race in the Aquathlon on Saturday too!

Check out their website for discounted entry packages if you race two or more events. Why not enter the Aquathlon, round 3 and round 5 and save $$?

  • Earn series points (7+)
  • Triathlon Australia Age Group ITU World Championship Qualifying Race – Sprint
  • Earn points towards the Nissan Club Championships or Scody Club Championships – North Queensland (depending on club geographical location)

How to earn points

To earn points in the Nissan State Series you need to race in the correct event for your age group. Use the tabs to find out which event to enter for your age group at QTS Kawana #3.

Ages 7-11 years (as at 31 December 2017)

Event: Kool Kids

Points: Series

Distance: 100m swim / 2km bike / 500m run

Ages 12-13 years (as at 31 December 2017)

Event: Enticer

Points: Series

Distance: 200m swim / 5km bike / 2km run

Ages 14 + years (as at 31 December 2017)

Event: Sprint

Points: Series

Distance: 750m swim / 20km bike / 5km run
