Fast and friendly racing on the coast!

Held on the Capricorn Coast in Sunny Central Queensland, the Yeppoon Triathlon Festival offers fast and friendly racing, VIP treatment for their competitors and an entertaining and vibrant atmosphere for supporters and locals.

  • Earn participation points (7-11) or series points (12+)
  • Earn points towards the Nissan Club Championships or Scody Club Championships – North Queensland (depending on club geographical location)

How to earn points

To earn points in the Nissan State Series you need to race in the correct event for your age group. Use the tabs to find out which event to enter for your age group at the Yeppoon Triathlon Festival.

Ages 7-9 years (as at 31 December 2017)

Event: Kids Aquathlon

Points: Participation

Distance: 400m run / 100m swim / 400m run

Ages 10-11 years (as at 31 December 2017)

Event: Kids Aquathlon

Points: Participation

Distance: 1km run / 200m swim / 1km run

Ages 12-13 years (as at 31 December 2017)

Event: Enticer Triathlon

Points: Series

Distance: 300m swim / 10km bike / 2km run

Ages 14-17 years (as at 31 December 2017)

Event: Sprint Triathlon

Points: Series

Distance: 750m swim / 20km bike / 5km run

Ages 18 + years (as at 31 December 2017)

Event: Standard Triathlon

Points: Series

Distance: 1.5km swim / 40km bike / 10km run
